Upon answering this phone call, you get a recorded message saying you have an important phone call, please hold. Another recorded message comes on asking if you want to consolidate your credit card debt. Once, I pressed the button to talk to an operator. When I said I didn't have any credit cards and asked them to remove me from their call list, he hung up on me.

phone rang around 7:51 pm on weds,Feb.24th, a little old lady asked "Is this Georgie, then when I said "yes, who is this?" replied "this is Mrs. Coo.......click" dead phone- every time I tried to call back got a message "call cannot be completed as dialed" - very mean call/hoax- I have family there and a member has been seriously ill........

keep getting calls about a check 'n go loan from four years ago. their reps insist that i set up payments with them to avoid wage garnishment... offered to get charges removed from case, i dont buy it...couldnt give me any info about the attorney office they work for?!?!!!

representative insistant on talking to my husband who was unavailable and gave me the sense and urgency that someone was in grave danger because this month's pymnt was in the mail. I had to become firm with getting more info. The collector was rude, ridiculus, and demanding.

called and said I need to be home to sign for legal papers on behalf of a family member, said my name and told me that I needed to be home so I could sign for the papers.....lol are these people crazy???? I said no!

I got a similar call from Michelle Thomas with the same instructions. It is a scam! However, they will actually send an "officer" with a knock-off uniform in a police-looking car to your house and job. When I got the call for the second time, after investigation on sites like these, I called the real police and they informed me that, in most states, police depts. nor officers are permitted use there uniform to intimidate citezens. When she called back an hour later, I informed her to send her "officer", who could not have known unless he Googled my name that I was an ametur boxer for 6 years and that I had cought onto their scam. H eogt a broken jaw and a trip to jail for his troubles. Just call the police with the phone number they gave you and the fake case number. I've been told this scam, a type identity theft, is extreemely wide-spread and you will have to change your phone number. Keep the new number as well as your personal address private.

Repeated calls from a fax number

Keeps calling. I'm likely to sue them in Small Claims court as soon as evidence becomes available---address to mail summons (certified & USPS mail) and/or other information leading to infringer of telemarketing laws.
